Digital Transformation Journey Backchak Refinery

The Bangchak Corporation Public Co., Ltd. (BCP) has an exciting journey for Digital Transformation since 2013. BCP started to use 300+ smart temperature sensors with mesh networks for fast project completion. BCP continued to explore reliability improvement projects like motor and cooling tower monitoring with smart sensors. In 2018, BCP embarked on a big scale project for 99 machine health monitoring including pump, reciprocating & screw compressor, air fin fan, blower, air pre-heater and steam turbine. DX has helped BCP to improved machine availability and prevent unplanned shutdown.
