Andeavor Logistics Lowers Maintenance Costs at Midstream Compressor Stations

As one of the largest full-service providers of midstream logistics in the western United States, Andeavor Logistics strives to operate efficiently. Recently, Andeavor enlisted Emerson to help reduce operating expenses through technology upgrades. Our team sought to implement a solution that reduced life cycle cost, device validation, and reduce information bottlenecks. By utilizing the Rosemount 2140 Level Switch, Andeavor saved time and money while efficiently converting to the new technology. This project resulted in $1200 in maintenance efficiencies per location, across 200 locations. Selecting the right technology upgrade saved Andeavor Logistics $240,000 annually.
